Full day tour in Lofoten.

Heading southwest, we will come to the little red-painted Flakstad Church of 1780 is the second oldest in Lofoten, and the artwork inside is even older. Then we will see the curving white sand beach of Ramberg. The mountains become more dramatic the further south you go until you reach the jagged black granite of Reine and Moskenes Island. At the Fisheries Museum in Sund you can see the blacksmith creating his well-known cormorants that even our king has in his collection. You will also find boats, engines and other artifact from Lofoten’s fi shing history.

Lofotr Viking Museum at Borg offers adventures based on the older North Norwegian food traditions. The visit lets you travel back to the Viking age, with a unique experience of food and history. You will be welcomed by a guide from the museum, and be given an introduction  to the Viking Age. After that you will be dressed in Viking cloaks and shown into the great hall, or the living quarters, which have been prepared for you, with the tables set. Oil lamps are lit, the fire in the open hearth gives warmth and light. The people of the house, dressed in
clothes of the Viking Age, serve mead and wine from Frankish pottery.
